Robert Jaques

Supporter Development Officer

Robert began working at BTO in 2018 on Garden BirdWatch (GBW), where he now regularly contributes to Bird Table magazine, reviews quarterly GBW data, and manages the GBW Ambassador programme as part of his responsibilities.

Interests & Responsibilities

Prior to joining BTO, Robert worked as a lab and field assistant for various universities working on projects involving nesting birds, upland bird surveying, eDNA and pollinators, among others. He is a keen natural historian, with an interest in a range of taxonomic groups, particularly Diptera.
